I was going to save this one for a Friday Fun post but it has made it to the front page of Digg, so seems to warrant a post on its own.
XKCD have posted a comic strip that features a little warning about being over reliant on the Google Maps driving directions. My advice, after reading the strip, is to avoid anywhere called 'Hangman's Ridge'. Here is a little taste of the strip:
