Google Maps, Forbes.com Gas Price Mashup - Rick Burnes and Theo Burry have developed a great cheap gas price finder for Forbes.com. Gas station locations include price, address, driving directions and the age of the price (eg: 1 day, 23 hours). It even gives you the option to change the price if you know an update. [via]
Celebrity Homes on a Google Map - I mentioned this mashup some time ago but it seems to be resurfacing so I thought I would mention it again. You have to sift through the list a bit until you can find an address that looks residential, and not the Hollywood office of the star's agent (where the fan letters go). [via]
USA, Canada, UK and Ireland Hotel Listings - Hotels-Finder.org is a new Google Maps powered hotel search engine that displays listings for hotels for USA, Canada, UK and Ireland. Choose a country, enter a city (and state for the U.S.) and results are displayed on a Google Map interface.
(Other Google Maps API-powered hotel search sites can be found here)
The Apple Store Finder now includes UK and Canada - I mentioned the Google Map which shows locations for Apple Retail Stores around the U.S. - This map has now included locations for Canada and the UK!
Endangered species sightings - Environmental Defense has created an interesting Google Maps integration with their website. It shows pins on a Google Map where people have stories of their first hand accounts with endangered species in their area. The map acts as the navigation interface to browse these stories.
