A reality game on Google Maps: Drop Spots - What is a dropspot?
"..A dropspot is a kind of alternative mailbox. It’s a hiding place in a public space, where people can leave things for exchange. Anything. It’s a weird and wonderful way to add personal character to the streets that we live in. Stash something fun and see what you get back." View the Google Map to find drop spots or better yet - create your own! Check
this page for more information.

The Borat Google Map - Heard of
Borat? He's the crazy Kazakhstani television journalist appearing on various shows and now in his own
movie. This Google Map plots locations for some of the more "unusual" remarks he's made about his "home country".
(Language used is not for younger viewers!!) The map was created using the
Aardvark DIY Google Maps site.

There.com Google Maps Mashup - The creators of the
World of Warcraft maps mashup have also used the Google Maps API to create a mashup for the map of the "
There.com" virtual world. If you're a There user you'll want to check this out. If you're interested in creating a map similar to this, check out

Ending a long distance relationship on Google Maps - Matthias is a Canadian expat living in Regensburg, Germany. To make his girlfriend (who still lives in Ontario, Canada) feel better about moving to where he's living he has created
this Google mashup of the city she's coming to. I say Google mashup since Maps is only one element.
Google Pages,
Blogger,
Google Video,
Maps,
Adsense,
Analytics and
Docs are all used. It's a Google marketers dream! :) He has this message he'd like me to pass on to her:
Dear Rosa - Regensburg is a great town, but without you it's empty and boring. Can't wait for you to join me here! Love ya, MatthiasNew Google Maps Sights: Ghost Plane and
