Surf's up with this Google Maps mashup!

Breakwatcher is a new Google Maps mashup for the US surfer looking to map surf info available from The NOAA and popular surf website Surfline.com. In addition to US surf locations there are some world surf spots included as well. Creator Doug Santo has coded up this mashup to pull data from the Surfline.com RSS feeds and specific text files with data for each buoy on the NOAA site similar to this. Breakwatcher then parses it all out and gens some pretty nifty little flash graphs when you click on the buoy map markers. Breakwatcher even includes a convenient link to Google Maps directions for all the surf hotspots. A great mashup to check out before you grab your board and head to the beach! :)
