Google Maps is powering the Web 2.0 craze here in Canada. It is bringing to life databases of information that previously sat dormant due to few searches and is giving geographic significance to text based information. Attempting to summarize new Canadian Google Maps mashups in Part 1 we'll cover Google Maps Mashups that cover all of Canada or more than one province:

FindByClick lets Canadians find all kinds of things:
ALL Canadian Tim Hortons Locations - You read it right! If you're looking for the nearest Tim Hortons location look no further than this Google Maps mashup! (See my recent post on this)
Canadian (and US) Beaches - Contrary to popular belief it doesn't snow all year here. Check out our great beaches! This even lists locations of US beaches!
Find a Canadian(and US) Radio Station - This is an awesome tool that will help you locate radio stations in any given area of Canada (and the US).
iLate.ca Google maps what's open late - Looking for a pharmacy, restaurant or movie shop in your city that might be open late at night? Look no further than the Google Maps powered iLate.ca! Choose between many different business types, day of week then choose your major Canadian city. It would be even better if all search results were mapped on this one..
