Retailers take note - here is a great example of a Google Maps store finder integrated into an existing website. Search stores by city, state or zip code or only show stores with specific services. The user interface controls have also been customized (zoom, map views etc..) and the infowindows that contain information about each store have been well designed. All of this gives this store finder app a unique feel to only this store. Great work!
Southern California Earthquake Map - Here is a Google Maps mashup displaying real time earthquake data from a seismic network in Southern California . It also dynamically load/unloads XML files of regional faults in the area. Useful for looking at earthquake distributions around active fault zones. The mashup was created at The Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at Scripps Institution of Oceanography by Rob Newman.
