Road-Tripping with the Google Maps API

Two road-trippers have created unique Google Maps and they have offered to share the code with you if you're interested:

Cruise the streets with Fotogopo - Fotogopo is a mashup of Google Maps, geocoder.us, and over 800,000 street level photos arranged by latitude and longitude. Google Maps provides a visual context a "cruise" through different parts of western U.S. cities and states. Click on the map or one of the photos to start driving in or near that location. The mashup creator has expressed in interest in letting others know how he did it, so drop me a line and I'll put you in touch.

Lansing to Toronto trip geocoded and mapped - Joe LaPenna took geocoded snapshots of a recent trip from Lansing, Michigan to Toronto, Ontario using his webcam and he then used a python script to generate the XML. Joe has links to share this code with you in this blog post.
