- My Maps Line Measurement tool - Google has announced a great new feature to its map creation tool (known as My Maps) that lets you measure the distance of a route or line on your map. This can help you find out how far your plotted routes are (such as hikes, bike rides etc..) in addition to just displaying them. This works for feet and miles - no metric as of yet.
- Google My Maps print converter - Sam Richards has created a nifty tool that makes printing Google My Maps and hosted KML files easy. To use it, hover over the KML link on your Google My Map, then copy/paste the link into the query field to generate a map with 3 ordered tables that show the info-window content for all map markers. Great tool!
