The Google Maps API team has announced The Google Geo Developer Series, an exciting series of workshops, "hackathons" and lectures taking place live at the Googleplex in Mountain View, California. If you can't make it out in person the video series will be posted to YouTube for all to see. The first workshop, Quick and Dirty KML Creation takes place Feb.20/08 followed by John Coryat's session on Creating Custom Maps on Feb. 27/07.
