Floodwater Mapper on Google Maps - Here is an interesting Google Maps tool that can be used for any location in the world. Simply center the map on a coastal area, then choose the water levels you want to display. The 1-12 meters you can increase by will show you the flooding damage that would take place.

World Golf Google Map - Looking for a golf course in South Africa, UAE or Thailand? No problem! This great Google Maps mashups lists golf courses for every continent around the world and makes use of Google Maps satellite views to show you what the course looks like. There are descriptions and user submitted photos for you to have an even better look.

World Racetracks (Using Blogger and Flickr) - Here is an interesting Blogger "hack" where Google Maps has been pushed into a blogger user space using the link field to add the coordinates to the map. Flickr photostreams of the racetrack are thrown in for good measure.

Wordpress Blog Archives.. Mapped! - This map creates a geographical reference of 4 Years of Wordpress blog archives and associated posts with latitude and longitude coordinates based on where they were about. Check out Justin's blog post that outlines his inspiration and thought around this idea.
