3 New Google Maps mashups: Detroit, Vegetarians, Birds

Google Map for Belle Isle in Detroit - MapBelleIsle.com lets you explore an island in the Detroit River - MapBelleIsle was created by a group of developers from Naviciti to show all that this city owned public park in Detroit has to offer. You can plot parking, lakes/creeks, parks and recreation, buildings/landmarks and trails using a very unique flash interface for this Google Map. Even the balloons that expand from each map marker use flash. Google Maps powers the "aerial map view" while you can explore a detailed flash map that Naviciti has created as well. Very cool!


Ohio Vegetarian Map - Here is a map for Ohioans or those passing through the state. It will point you to vegetarian-friendly restaurants and grocery stores. It contains detailed information about the business including a directions tool to get you there


North American Rarebirds Map - This Rarebirds.com interactive Google Map provides easy access to rare bird alert information from around North America. So take a look
