How-to: Make HUGE Google Maps images and wallpapers!

Noah Vawter of Computing Culture at the MIT Media Lab has created a great "how-to" which might just take the place of the recent Google Maps wallpaper generator that was taken down at the request of the Google Maps team. Noah explains how to make really, really big Google Maps images. There really isn't anything tool that is involved with Noah's solution. With a bit of technical know-how and the ability to follow Noah's directions you can create HUGE Google Maps! Take a look at this how-to to learn the methods he suggests.
