Google Maps mashups from France

I would like to welcome Renaud Euvrard to the team of contributors here on Google Maps Mania. Renaud will be helping us to keep up to date on all the Google Maps mashups and news from the country of France. He files his first post with us today:

Estate agency Kéops - "Agence immobilière Kéops" - Kéops is a network of estate agencies being in the south of France (Herault). The integration of Google Maps is very well made and makes it possible to get the list of houses, flats or apartments for sale or rent available by city (the precise location of the estate not available).

GIS Industry Map - Georezo is the French portal dedicated to the GIS (Geographical Information Systems) industry. Different Google Maps were integrated into the website to map members, GIS companies and events.


The communities and users' associations of Wireless Networks (WiFi) are using the Google Maps API to create a tool that allows you to quickly locate associations and the networks available closed to you. Here are 2 examples:

Fédération France Wireless - The Fédération France Wireless is an associative structure which is to develop wireless public and free networks. With the map it's possible to locate close to home local associations belonging to the Federation.

Montpellier Wireless - Montpellier Wireless is an example of local association developing this type of network. The map allows you to locate in real-time available networks in Montpellier's area.
