Global Event Finder - Here's another cool Google Maps mashup that allows you to search for and post events - globally. The US content alone features 3,500 events ranging from Music, Sports to Visual Arts (along with many more). The site even has a blog tracking the cool events that are being added to the site. If there is value in the coverage and number of indexed events for world cities, a site like this could really dislodge the typical catalogued, text-based city guide websites..
