Google Maps has better satellite zooms for Australia

Developmentonashoestring has noted that the most parts of Australia now has satellite imagery that seems to be displaying closer zooms recently than before. The blog does point out though that "Sydney has mostly full zoom, but unfortunately the more interesting landmarks like the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are still in low resolution shots."

Maybe street maps are next for Google Maps in Australia?
