The first Google Maps China hack?

Google recently launched Google Local for China. According to this blogger, the Google Maps API cannot be used for the China street maps that exist for the new Google Bendi service. Here is his solution:

Well, it is not big deal. I read Google Maps client source code months ago. When I read china local maps, it really surprised me. It seems google tries to make things simple in the client. This person has managed to integrate the Chinese MapABC.com map directly into this blog post. Could this be the first Google Maps hack for China?
